The Role

2020 will be an exciting and challenging year for us. We are targeting three-fold sales growth, planning to expand globally, and adding more and more product lines on our platform. We already have a marketing team, however, the need for a visionary and dynamic leader in the marketing and branding part is felt now more than ever before.

We are looking for a superman/woman in this role as this is more than a 9 to 5 job and it will be a bit overwhelming for people who don’t want to take challenges and disrupt a market! Someone who understands the future of #FashionTech and want to be a core-part of super energetic, dynamic and driven journey.

Job Description

Marketing Strategies & Advertising 

  • Understand the vision of the company and take ownership to align with the ambitious goal of becoming the lifestyle platform of Bangladesh.
  • Work with the most important marketing metrics closely – CAC, CLTV, AOV, and monthly marketing budget.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies, plans and events to ensure the profit growth and expansion of the company.
  • Research, analyze and monitor the impact of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and manage digital/online marketing campaigns. Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities. Oversee marketing channels,  message, copywriting, graphics design, video production, layout, and production of promotional materials.
  • Work with the tech team to implement growth hackings and improve existing and new features.
  • Take part in the recruitment of the Content Lab and marketing team.
  • Conducts marketing surveys to understand customer pain points, reviews, and recommendations and need for current and new products ensuring customer satisfaction and the best experience.
  • Create and manage content marketing strategies.

Branding and PR

  • Maintain brand positioning, image, identity, and public relations.
  • Have to have a sense of standard design and monitor for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Website & Mobile App advertising & branding.
  • Develop effective communication tools – leaflets, banners, and brochures.
  • Organize and oversee communication campaigns (on-field campaigns, social media, etc.), exhibitions, and promotional events.
  • Solid understanding of web metrics, analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.
  • Find out the new markets – how to intercept the market, brand building stories, target group pain point analysis, customer segmentation).
  • Initiate different types of categories and subcategories under all product lines (example – Styline signature, essential, regular, premium) and position them to the right market.

Leadership

  • Build/nurture the marketing team and continuously develop, train and recruit creative and driven human resources in the marketing team.
  • Work with the leadership team to take part in short-term and long-term goal setting activities and make plan of how to implement it.
  • Budget planning and implementation to reach the sales goals.

Requirements (What we Look Into a Candidate)

  • At least 3 years of proven experience to manage brands.
  • Marketing background, Digital/Online marketing courses or experiences will get priority.
  • Good knowledge about e-commerce and startups in general.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practice.
  • Experience managing Facebook Ads, Google Ads, PPC, SEO, e-commerce and Affiliate programs.
  • A disruptive, agile and driven mindset to bring results.
  • Excellent ability to understand and analyze customers’ mindset.
  • Team building and leadership ability.
  • Take the ownership of work – build process, and continuously improve.
  • Creativity and ability to produce innovative and original ideas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
